Drew Brees NBC

Brees was an analyst for all of one season before calling it quits. It is unclear what the former NFL player will do now that he's retired.
Drew Brees was seemingly going to replace NBC’s Cris Collinsworth when he decided to retire but the former Saints Quarterback only lasted one season as an analyst.

Upon retiring from football, Brees signed a multi-year contract with NBC to be an analyst for the Notre Dame games. He was also in the studio for “Football Night in America”. He went from a busy football schedule to entering the busy world of broadcasting and never took a break in between. Drew has stated he was leaving to finally spend some time with his family after twenty football seasons. It seems the decision for Brees to leave was mutual between him and NBC. Drew and Mike Tririco were assigned to a wild-card game, and he was not ready. Being new to broadcasting he didn’t bring much to the table, and didn’t offer any in-depth analysis. Needless to say, he wasn’t a fan favorite.
